Winter Concert, December 9, Has International Theme

November 3, 2000

Caroling 'Round the World will be the theme of ChildrenSong of New Jersey's second annual Winter Concert, December 9, 2000. The performance will be given at Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Road, Haddonfield, at 7:30pm.

Cross-cultural selections will include Jewish folksongs sung in Hebrew, Old World Carols sung in French and Spanish, Vivaldi pieces sung in Latin, and a variety of English holiday carols including Ding Dong Merrily On High, Infant Holy, and Robert Frost's poetic "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" set to music.

Tickets are $7 per person and may be ordered in advance by calling the chorus line at 856-216-1140.

They will also be available at the door, pending availability. The Methodist Church offers ample seating, excellent acoustics, free on-site parking, and wheelchair access. Click here for a map of the event location.

ChildrenSong is a non-profit, 120-member regional children's community chorus, directed by Polly Murray. Members range in age from 7 to 14, and represent three South Jersey counties.
