Open Auditions for 2002-2003 Performance Year

ChildrenSong of New Jersey is holding auditions for its children's and youth choirs in December 2002 and January 2003. ChildrenSong is a not-for-profit children's chorus based in Haddonfield, NJ. Members represent Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester Counties.

The 120 singers who perform within the three choirs of ChildrenSong sing a variety of songs from various genres including classical, jazz, and folk songs. Recent performances include the ChildrenSong Choral Festival at Rutgers University and as featured performers at Haddonfield Symphony's Concert for Young People at the Tweeter Center.

ChildrenSong will travel to Canterbury, England, this summer on a performance tour and plans another tour to Hawaii next summer.

To audition, children must be between the ages of 7 and 16. Children will be asked to prepare My Country ’Tis of Thee or a similar solo for the audition.
