Reflections of the Soul Concert Lifts the Spirit
ChildrenSong of New Jersey will present its 2003 Spring Concert titled Reflections of the Soul on Saturday, June 7, 2003, at Haddonfield Memorial High School, 401 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, at 7:30pm.
The concert will feature art songs, spirituals, and folk music to lift the spirit and soothe the soul. The selections include Give Us Hope, No Time, Yo Le Canto, Everlasting Melody, Blue Skies, and I Bought Me a Cat.
Let the the choirs of ChildrenSong ease your spirit this spring! Adult tickets are $10, children aged 6-12 are $6, and children 5 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or reserved by calling the chorus line at 856-216-1140.
Haddonfield Memorial High School offers ample seating, excellent acoustics, free on-site parking, and wheelchair access.
ChildrenSong of New Jersey is a non-profit, regional children’s community chorus, founded and directed by Polly Murray. The Assistant director is Suzanne Purtee and Accompanists are Rob Kennan and Joe Krupa. The chorus’ 125 members range in age from 7 to 17, and represent three South Jersey counties.
