ChildrenSong Announces New KinderSong Program
ChildrenSong of New Jersey is pleased to offer a new program, called KinderSong, for children aged 5-7. The program is based on the music-educational philosophies of Orff-Schulwerk and Kodály. Sessions are taught by ChildrenSong’s Artistic Director, Polly Murray.
KinderSong provides musical experiences for young children to help foster a lifelong enjoyment of music, while developing their musical talents and interests. Activities include singing, rhythmic chanting, movement, and instrument play.
Parents and caregivers are welcome to share in the experience with their young musicians. Graduates of the program, on reaching age 7, are invited to audition for the ChildrenSong Prelude Choir.
All sessions are held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Haddon Heights, New Jersey.
