Open Auditions for 2003-2004 Season

ChildrenSong of New Jersey will hold auditions for its three choirs on Tuesday, December 16, 2003. ChildrenSong is a not-for-profit children's chorus based in Haddonfield, NJ. Members represent Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester Counties.

The 125 singers who perform within the three choirs of ChildrenSong sing a selection of music from various genres including classical, jazz, and folk songs. Recent performances include the ChildrenSong Choral Festival at Rutgers University and as featured performers at Haddonfield Symphony's Concert for Young People at the Tweeter Center.

ChildrenSong traveled to Canterbury, England, this summer to perform at the prestigious Canterbury International Choral Festival and plans another tour to Hawaii next summer. Recently, ChildrenSong hosted the Camden County Songfest, held in Haddon Heights on April 12, 2003.

To audition, children must be between the ages of 7 and 16. Children will be asked to prepare My Country ’Tis of Thee or a similar solo for the audition. Audition sessions are held by appointment only.
