Spring Concert Has Latin Flair

Children aged 8-16 in various choirs will sing Latin American songs that will have you dancing in the aisles and joining a conga line! The concert is the result of a season-long study of Latin American music through a grant from the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission and features songs such as La Bamba, Guantanamera, and Oye. The CD is available for purchase from our online store and contains the following tracks:
Tickets are $10 in advance for adults ($12 at the door), $7 for youth 12-17. Age 11 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door, at the ChildrenSong online store, or reserved by calling the chorus line at 856-216-1140.
ChildrenSong of New Jersey is a non-profit, regional children's community
chorus, founded and directed by Polly Murray.
Accompanists are Rob Kennan and Joe Krupa.
The chorus' 85 members range in age from 7 to 17, and represent three South
Jersey counties. Funding for this event has been made possible in part by the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission through the New Jersey Council on the Arts, Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
