2007 Camden County SongfestJanuary 29, 2007
This all-day multicultural music and singing celebration is for area children ages 9-13 (grades 4-7), and is sponsored by ChildrenSong of New Jersey. Singers do not need to know how to read music to participate. We'll teach them the basics of music reading and part-singing in one fun-filled day of music-making! Teachers are invited to attend free for professional development credit. Check-in begins at 8:30am. The day ends with a free concert for friends and family at 3:00pm. Date: Saturday, April 21 Where: Cost: $15 admission includes a t-shirt, lunch, instruction, and the Songfest concert. (Teacher admission is free and includes complimentary lunch and music packet.) Registration: Students and teachers may register online through our online store. If your school district will be sending payment directly, please use our bulk registration form instead. Deadline for registration is Friday, April 6, and pre-registration is strongly encouraged (space fills up quickly!). View the event brochure or call the chorus line at 856-216-1140 for more information. Copies of the concert recording are now available with free shipping in the ChildrenSong online store. Funding for this festival has been made possible in part by the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission through the New Jersey Council on the Arts, Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
