ChildrenSong Celebrates Spring Thyme

Celebrate the spring by listening to beautiful songs of the British Isles
with ChildrenSong of New Jersey. The Choir will present its Spring Thyme
Concert in a first-ever double performance featuring beautiful
songs of the British Isles to warm your heart.

Featured in this concert is the premiere of two commissioned works by New
Jersey composer
Robert Cohen:
Ode
to a Toad and
My Singing Bird (see sidebar on right). The chorus will
also sing favorites such as
Stand Together,
Einini,
Paddy
Works on the Railway, and
Great Gettin' Up Morning.
The first performance will be given on Saturday, June 2, at 7:30pm at
Haddonfield Memorial High School in Haddonfield, NJ. The second will be given on
Sunday, June 3, at 3:00pm at St. Stephen’s
Lutheran Church in Woodbury.
Tickets are $10 in advance for adults ($12 at the door), $7 for students and
seniors. Children 11 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door, at the

online store, or reserved by calling the chorus line at 856-216-1140.

Haddonfield
Memorial High School offers ample seating, excellent acoustics, free on-site
parking, and wheelchair access.

ChildrenSong of New Jersey is a non-profit, regional children's community
chorus, founded and directed by Polly Murray.
The choir is accompanied by Nick Watts with vocal coach
Patty Januszewski. The chorus' 85 members range in age from 7 to 17, and represent three South
Jersey counties.
