Holiday Garland Concert
ChildrenSong of New Jersey will present its Winter Concert Holiday Garland on Saturday, December 8, at 7pm at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Woodbury and Sunday, December 9, at 3pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield.
The program will feature seasonal favorites such as Carol of the Bells and Sleigh Ride as well as lesser known masterpieces such as Kodaly’s Christmas Dance of the Shepherd and Two Old World Carols: Pat-a-pan and Fum, Fum, Fum.
This enjoyable program of Christmas, Hanukkah, and sleigh songs will take you around the world in one evening! Join one hundred ChildrenSong singers ranging in age from 7½ to 18 for the annual holiday sing-along grand finale!
Tickets are $10 in advance through the web or phone, or $12 at the door. Seniors and students are $7 and children under 12 are free at the door. Visit the ChildrenSong online store or call the chorus line at 856-216-1140 for information or to order.
ChildrenSong of New Jersey is a non-profit, regional children’s community chorus, founded and directed by Polly Murray. The choir is accompanied by Nick Watts with vocal coach Patty Januszewski. The chorus’ 100 members range in age from 7½ to 18, and represent three South Jersey counties.
