Do your children love to sing? Sign them up now for the 7th annual Camden County Children’s Songfest.

Last year’s program attracted around 300 singers last year aged 9-13 from five counties in New Jersey. The festival was focused on Celtic music and dance, including a special feature on sword dancing. The singers learned an authentic Irish dance and sang folk songs from Ireland.

This year’s program is International Songfest, where children will learn a variety of music from around the world.

This all-day multicultural music and singing celebration is for area children ages 9-13 (grades 4-7), and is sponsored by ChildrenSong of New Jersey. Singers do not need to know how to read music to participate. We’ll teach them the basics of music reading and part-singing in one fun-filled day of music-making!

Teachers are invited to attend free for professional development credit.

Check-in begins at 8:30am. The day ends with a free concert for friends and family at 3:00pm.

Where: Haddonfield Memorial High School

Cost: $15 admission includes a t-shirt, lunch, instruction, and the Songfest concert. (Teacher admission is free and includes complimentary lunch and music packet.)
