ChildrenSong presents Noël, Noël!

ChildrenSong of New Jersey will present its Winter Concert Noël, Noël! on Saturday, December 13, at 7:00pm at Haddonfield Memorial High School in Haddonfield, NJ, and on Sunday, December 14, at 3pm at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Woodbury.

The concert will feature the world premiere of Robert Cohen’s comical selection Ho Hosanna, commissioned for ChildrenSong and conductor Polly Murray. The selection quotes famous carol and orchestral fragments written for voices using one word: “Hosanna!”. Other selections include seasonal, humorous, and serious settings of “Noël” including NO ELephant, The First Noël, Cantique de Noël (O Holy Night), and Noël Des Enfants (Christmas Carol for Homeless Children) written by Debussy. This concert features a special guest appearance by the Garden State Chorale and both choirs will lead the audience in a holiday sing-along experience that will leave you caroling all the way home!

Tickets are $10 in advance for adults ($12 at the door), $7 for students and seniors (60+). Children 11 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door, at the ChildrenSong online store, or reserved by calling the chorus line at 856-216-1140.

You can also order the CD of this performance from our online store.

ChildrenSong of New Jersey is a non-profit, regional children’s community chorus, founded and directed by Polly Murray. The choir is accompanied by Nick Watts with vocal coach Patty Januszewski. The chorus’ 85 members range in age from 7 to 18, and represent three South Jersey counties.
