Choir Camp 2012 Events

This year’s camp begins Monday, August 22, and completes on Friday, August 26. Camp will be held at Haddonfield Middle School. Rehearsal times for Monday through Friday are:

  • Concert Choir: 8am - 11:00am
  • Allegro Choir: 10:00am - 12pm
  • Prelude Choir: 10:30am - 12pm

Camp is mandatory for all singers and is included in your full-year tuition. There will be soft pretzels and bottled water for sale each day for $.50.

There are two additional features for Camp this year:

  1. A full morning program is available for those families needing childcare beginning at 8am. The fee is $10 per day. The children will experience arts and crafts, supervised games/playtime, and a light snack before regular rehearsal times.   2. Camp is also available for non-ChildrenSong members! Your child’s friends can join us for the full week and sing in the concerts too, for $100. Read the announcement for details and register through our online store.

Wednesday, August 24:

Night at the Riversharks

We will be performing the National Anthem. All singers and family members must purchase tickets. Tickets are $10 per person, available for purchase on Monday (8/22) during camp hours. Parking is $3 additional, payable at the stadium. Game time is 7:05pm. Chorister reporting time TBA.

Thursday, August 25:

Pajama Day and Concert Choir Recording Session

Wear your favorite PJs to rehearsal.

Concert Choir will be attending a recording session at Haddonfield Middle School from 8am to 10am for the Carnegie Hall Concert in December and will be dismissed at 11am.

Friday, August 26:

Friends and Family Concert and Swim Party

Singers will peform a Concert at 11am for friends and family at Haddonfield Middle School, followed by refreshments.

We conclude the week with an optional Swim Party at Oaklyn Swim Club from 12pm to 4pm. Cost is $5 per person swimming (cash only). All swimmers under 12 must be chaperoned by an adult. Bring your lunch or purchase food from the Snack Bar.

 

Auditions
