Your SAB singers will enjoy a day-long workshop featuring music of composer Rollo Dilworth, Associate Professor of Choral Music Education at Temple University. This is a unique opportunity to work first-hand with the composer and experience the joy of singing through his energetic instructional techniques!

Singers must be accompanied by a teacher or other responsible adult (one chaperone per school or group is sufficient). Professional Development is provided for all teachers who attend the workshop. Registration is available through our online store, or you can complete and mail the registration form available in the Attachments section on this page. The deadline for registrations is October 1st and no walk-in registrations will be accepted. Confirmations and workshop music will be sent to teacher by October 10th. • Who: Male and female singers in grades 6-12 with treble or developing male voices
• When: Saturday, October 29, 2011, 8am-3pm
• Where: Haddonfield Middle School, 5 Lincoln Ave, Haddonfield
• Cost: $30 for students and teachers, which includes music, instruction, snacks and water. Teacher registration is free if they accompany their students.
• What to bring: Bag lunch and workshop music
• What to wear: Comfortable clothes
• Music and voice parts: Music will be sent to teachers by October 10th. Students should be able to sing their vocal part in a group. Teachers should have an even number of sopranos and altos. Please make sure music is brought to workshop.
• Repertoire: Rise Up This Day to Celebrate (Haydn/Liebergen), Liza-Water Come-a Me Eye (arr. Burnett), Until I Reach-a Mah Home (Dilworth), and Shine on Me (Dilworth).

Dr. Dilworth will rote-teach warmups and other songs as time permits.
