2001 Spring Concert

The chorus hosted its 2001 Winter Concert at Haddonfield United Methodist Church on June 9, 2001.

The performance marked the group's first performance with orchestra.

The highlight of the program was the premiere of Twilight at Sea, a piece commissioned by ChildrenSong in honor of the battleship USS New Jersey and all who served aboard her. The piece was composed by Dean Rishel, with lyrics by chorister Emily Westfield, age 10.

In addition, the chorus presented a donation of $250 to the Home Port Alliance, the local group responsible for restoring the "Big J" and turning her into a floating museum.

The performance was hosted by Representative Rob Andrews (D, NJ).
