Rob Kennan
Former Concert Choir Accompanist
Rob Kennan is active in the community as a teacher and accompanist. He received
his Bachelor of Music Education degree from
Shenandoah
University and a Master of Music degree in French Horn performance from the
University
of North Texas.
Mr. Kennan later moved to Virginia where he taught music and headed the
Language Arts department at Massanutten
Military Academy. He also served as Assistant Director and accompanist for
the Masterworks Chorale and was music teacher and accompanist at the Valley
Educational Center for the Creative Arts.
Mr. Kennan came to New Jersey in 1998 to become the Music Minister at First
Baptist Church in Haddonfield, where he plays the organ and keyboards and
directs seven choirs. These choirs include vocal, instrumental, handbell, and
children's groups. He is a teacher and accompanist at the Haddonfield
School of Performing Arts and also teaches privately.
